Re-appointment of Mr Philip Leung Kwong-hon as FDRC Director

(30 March 2016, Hong Kong) - The Financial Dispute Resolution Centre ("FDRC") announced today the re-appointment of Mr Philip Leung Kwong-hon as Director of the FDRC Board for a term of two years with effect from 31 March 2016.  

 

Currently Vice-Chairman of the Consumer Council, Mr Leung has extensive experience in consumer rights and protection issues.  In his capacity as Director to the FDRC since 2014, Mr Leung has provided his insightful views and valuable advice to the FDRC on policies, strategies, operations and other aspects.

 

In welcoming Mr Leung’s re-appointment, Professor Teresa Cheng Yeuk-wah, Chairman of the FDRC, said, “I am sure all my fellow Board Members are delighted with the re-appointment of Mr Philip Leung and are looking forward to his sharing of his profound knowledge and experience in a wide spectrum of consumer aspects, which are valuable to the future development of the FDRC.”
