Mediation Workshop: Regulations and Disputes relating to ILAS Products
About this CPD Event:
Selling of Investment-linked assurance schemes (ILAS) products is governed by guidelines and regulatory requirements, which have recently been strengthened. Misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the products as well as the selling processes unavoidably lead to disputes. This course aims at focusing on explaining the nature, feature and selling process of ILAS or other insurance products as appropriate and reviewing the latest guidelines and regulatory requirements. Illustrated with case examples aiming at dispute resolution, this seminar will provide a practical understanding of ILAS products and a useful roadmap where disputes should arise.
