CPD event: Mediation Week 2018 (11-17 May 2018) (2018)

One of the major biennial events of the Department of Justice (DoJ), Mediation Week, will be held in May 2018.  Under the theme “Mediate First – Exploring New Horizons”, the Mediation Week 2018 includes a wide range of half-day thematic events (“Half-Day Thematic Events”) covering a carnival, seminars, panel discussion and mock mediation involving different sectors of the community, including the education, medical and healthcare, arts and entertainment, labour, and commercial sector.  The Half-Day Thematic Events will be held from 11 to 17 May 2018.

Under different dedicated themes, experienced and renowned experts and mediators will speak at the Half-Day Thematic Events on how mediation may be used to resolve disputes in a speedy, cost-effective and efficient way.  Representatives from specific sectors will also share their invaluable views and experience on mediation with participants of the Half-Day Thematic Events.  The Half-Day Thematic Events will provide golden opportunities for gaining insights and networking amongst interested members in different sectors.
