CPD event: Mediation Workshop - Mediating Cross-Border Dispute (2018)

The workshop, which is funded by the Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (Organisation Support Programme), aims at enhancing Hong Kong Mediators' competitiveness and preparing them for mediating cross-border disputes. The workshop will cover:

• An overview on settlement in cross-border disputes
• Sources of cross-border disputes
• Mediating involving a foreign element
• Key issues associated with cross-border disputes
• Arbitration-mediation-arbitration processes and format
• Settlement agreements
