Appointment to the Board of Financial Dispute Resolution Centre

(29 February 2024) - Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC) announced the appointment of Mr. CHAN Pak Lam, Tom as a Director of the FDRC Board for a two-year term from 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2026. Mr. Tom CHAN will succeed Mr Gary CHEUNG who will retire from the Board with effect from 29 February 2024.

Mr. CHAN Pak Lam, Tom was a member of the 10th – 12th Political Consultative Conference of Jilin Province in China. He is also the Permanent Honorable President of The Institute of Securities Dealers in Hong Kong and one of the founders of China Bay Area Think Tank Co., Ltd. With over 30 years of experience at the top management level of various institutions and listed companies, Mr. Chan has widespread experience in project financing, corporate mergers and acquisition, IPOs as well as trading in foreign exchange and precious metals and securities. 

Meanwhile, FDRC would like to express its gratitude to Mr Gary CHEUNG for his precious commitment and dedication during his term of office in the past six years.
