Appointment of new CEO of Financial Dispute Resolution Centre
(12 April 2023) – Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC) announced the appointment of Ms. Anna Koo Kar-chun (顧家珍) as Chief Executive Officer and Director for a two-year term with effect from 1 April 2023.
Ms. Koo is a barrister and an accredited general and family mediator. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She has over eighteen years of experience in dispute resolution, covering areas of lawsuit, arbitration and mediation, lecturing, corporate training, regulatory enforcement, etc. From 2018 to 2022, she was appointed as the Director of the Hong Kong Judicial Institute under the Judiciary of the HKSAR. Ms. Koo possesses expert mediation and arbitration skills, and extensive knowledge of law and cross-industry engagement.
Meanwhile, FDRC announced the retirement of Mr. Cho Chun-wah (曹振華) and his cessation of duties as Chief Executive Officer and Director upon expiry of the appointment term on 31 March 2023. FDRC expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Cho for his invaluable devotion, contribution and leadership in the past four years.
