Mr Dieter Yih JP is a Hong Kong practising solicitor. His practice covers capital markets, corporate finance, securities, public and private M&A in Hong Kong, mainland China and across the Asian region. He is currently an arbitrator of the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration), and a member of the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Additionally, he is a Past President of the Law Society of Hong Kong, and a former council member of the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited.
In addition to his current capacity as the Chairman of FDRC, he is also the Convenor of the Investigation Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Education University of Hong Kong, a member of the Education Commission, a member of the Standing Committee of on Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service, and a member of the Banking Review Tribunal. He is the chairman of the King’s College London Hong Kong Foundation.
Mr Yih is a Fellow of King’s College London, and a Visiting Professor of the China University of Political Science and Law. He also contributes regularly to legal periodicals and gives seminars on a wide range of legal topics.
