FDRC is currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Assistant Office Manager

Key Responsibilities:

    • To assist the CEO of the FDRC office in the administration of the office, and where required perform simple secretarial duties
    • To provide and to help maintain day-to-day operations of the FDRC office, and to provide logistics and support for various teams and staff members.
    • To coordinate schedules, to manage appointments and to organise meetings to facilitate the provision of services of the FDRC.
    • Where relevant and required, to draft minutes of meetings for review and approval.
    • To help develop and implement office protocols in compliance with organisational policies, including review of staff handbook and accounting policies.
    • To oversee and to provide human resources (“HR”) services including
      • Managing recruitment, interviewing applicants and selecting candidates.
      • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the FDRC
      • Overseeing and managing performance appraisals
      • Ensuring compliance with company policies and local employment laws.
      • Administering compensation and benefits programs.
      • Providing guidance and consultation on HR matters for staff members of the FDRC.
    • To oversee budget preparation, monitor expenditures and help in the preparation of financial statements, auditing and the preparation of the annual returns and the annual reports for the FDRC.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or a related discipline; professional qualifications and/or knowledge in company secretarial work a definite advantage.
  • 5 years work experience in office administration and HR field, including experience at managerial level
  • Familiar with Hong Kong labour laws and regulations, including the Employment Ordinance and the Employees Compensation Ordinance
  • Independent with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Terms of employment

  • Two-year (24 months) contract (renewable subject to FDRC’s operational needs)
  • Performance-related year-end bonus
  • 5 days week
