The Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation
As an active member of the alternative dispute resolution community, the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC) is keen to see the establishment of the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) in Hong Kong and warmly welcomes the Signing Ceremony of the Convention on the Establishment of the IOMed taking place in Hong Kong on 30 May 2025.
The IOMed is the first intergovernmental organization dedicated to mediation — Its establishment will elevate Hong Kong's international image; it also marks a new chapter in global governance, with Hong Kong at the heart of this transformative journey. 🌐🤝
We look forward to any collaboration with IOMed’s work in promoting dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding across borders, and to furthering Hong Kong’s role as a leading hub in the provision of international legal and dispute resolution services.
作為替代性爭議解決領域中積極的一員，金融糾紛調解中心（FDRC）對於「國際調解院」（IOMed）在香港成立深感欣喜，並熱烈歡迎《關於建立國際調解院的聯合聲明》簽署儀式於2025年5月30 日在香港舉行。
國際調解院（IOMed）將成為首個專注以調解方式解決國際爭議的政府間組織，它的成立不僅將提升香港的國際形象，更標誌著全球治理邁向新篇章，也鞏固了香港作為國際法律與爭議解決服務中心的地位。🌐🤝
